Music in old walls

The Castle Music School is a cultural educational institution of the county district Saalekreis. It is sponsored by the State of Saxony Anhalt and is a member of the Association of German Music Schools. The course offer includes instrumental and vocal training, music theory, dance, fine arts, elementary education for preschool children and music education for people with disabilities. Special emphasis is placed on individual and diverse training. As a lively and modern educational institution, the offer includes classical and contemporary music, folklore, jazz and pop music. The Music School is a meeting place for all generations and ensures flexible access to the Internet.
Community music is particularly important. In large and small ensembles and groups of musicians as well as in stage projects, music students (also interdisciplinary) are led to active musical and personal coexistence.
Students and teachers contribute to the varied cultural life on the castle. The numerous concerts and musical festivals are very popular.
